Dawn and Melvin Mason met in 2005 and were married in 2008. Melvin always had a knack for working with his hands, and Dawn was always supportive of wh​atever he was building or disassembling. Already having 30 years of experience with the trade, Melvin started D & M Locksmith in 2007 as a way to support his family. Living in northern Minnesota at the time, things were slow. When our family moved to Evansville in 2010, the business started taking off. As more customers got to know us, the business became synonymous with fair prices and excellent service. As a team, they continued to work hard and expand the business together. Sadly, in January of 2020 Melvin passed away, leaving the business to his loving wife. Dawn has since taken up the reins and continued to work hard, remembering him every day. Dawn and Melvin instilled in both the company and their family, commitment to others, hard work, integrity, and faith in Christ.
